The yoke … and light

The light of the menorah/candlestick
Niyr, lamp, light, cancle, to glisten, shine by reflection with a sparkling luster from the hebrew root niyr probably identical with that of H5216, through the idea of the gleam of a fresh furrow, to break up [the ground], freshly plough or till.
Manowr from the root niyr, a yoke for ploughing, to break up the earth, also the beam of weavers.
Menowrah from the root manowr, the candlestick in the tabernacle of witness.
